The current edition of the Alter Ego game is a production of Choose Multiple LLC. (Alter Ego was originally published in 1986 for the Commodore 64, MS-DOS, Apple II, and Macintosh. Will you marry and have kids, or start your own business and become a millionaire? The choice is yours. Alter Ego starts at birth and ends at death, including two substantially different versions, depending on whether you choose to be male or female. It's in the style of pick-a-path gamebooks, but with over a thousand multiple-choice questions, it's much longer and deeper than traditional gamebooks. Hints: you will know what ending you will get as you progress in the game. I finished the game and this this how i achieved all three endings.Įnding 1: "the end of id" -es has gone mad 》just be yourself and try to agree with esĮnding 2: "the end of superego" -es was gone 》pick choices that conform to the standards of societyĮnding 3: "the end of alterego" -es was still es 》choose vague answers and be neutralĪfter endgame: -flashback of everything, bg music plays with vocals, credits -you could greet her everyday -there are chit chats/deep talks -contemplative reading (es would lend you a book and you'll talk about it after quite some time) -es might get angry if you haven't visited her for a long time
